The Museu de Arte do Rio Grande do Sul opens on Monday at 7:0 pm exposure "the Sensitive Museum", made exclusively with works of its collection. With a strategy of mounting large conceptual impact, based on a female reproductive system, the exhibition can be considered a milestone in the history of the Museum. Not only once displays the work of 132 women artists, but also because, in doing so, the MARGS continues to fulfil its mission: to collect, conserve and museological display the works of its collection. The museum restored 19 works for the exhibition, among them some of the most significant examples of your collection.

Rush Arts Gallery + Resource Center is a core program of the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization founded in 1995 by brothers Russell, Danny and Joseph “Rev. Run” Simmons. The gallery is dedicated to providing exhibition opportunities to an emerging artistic community and exposes disadvantaged urban youth to contemporary arts and culture through educational programming initiatives.

Hello my friends,

I am happy to  announce  that two  of my recent works, BRIDE and FLY  have been acquired by the collection of  Museu de Arte do Rio Grande do Sul  in Porto Alegre, Brazil.   They'll be exhibited in Labyrinths of Iconography, curate by Jose Francisco Alves, which opens Tuesday, June 28th at the Museum and runs through August 14th.  If you are in Porto Alegre stop by to see this amazing exhibition  with more than 80 artists.

Com alegria que informo que duas obras minhas, “Noiva” e “Mosca” sao agora parte do acervo do MARGS. Os trabalhos estarao a mostra pela primeira vez no Brasil na exposicao “Labirintos da Iconografia” que abrira no MARGS na proxima terca as 19hs.
